Flavor

The dark sugar sweetness embraces a roasted nut and cocoa tones provides a bold and rich body that compliments the slight sweet acidity of this origin. The heavy nut characteristics stand out against the subtle dried apple sweetness and spiced Mexican dark chocolate.

Origin

Finca Santa Julia is located on the slopes of the Santa Ana Volcano in one of the oldest coffee producing regions in El Salvador. Founded by the great grandfather of the current farm manager, this farm still produces heirloom Bourbon varietals right at around 1450-1550 meters. This batch was hand selected as a part of a new initiative in this region to showcase the best of what they have to offer.

Process

These beans are naturally wet processed with an extended fermenting period and then washed, soaked and dried on raised beds.
